CSAL starts performing regular monthly service calls to US Gulf Ports at the end of March 2009

Canada States Africa Line is pleased to announce the addition of the Ports of Houston, TX and New Orleans, LA to its Service. On March 31, M/V “Atlantic Runner” will perform the first call to the US Gulf Ports. The regular servicing terminals at the Portsof Houston and New Orleans are Manchester Terminal and Pacorini Terminal respectively.

The Ports of Houston and New Orleans are known as major centers for international trade. A combination of highways and rail connections linking Houston with inland markets and the proximity of the Port of New Orleans to the American Midwest via inland waterway system as well as ability of both ports to handle different cargoes make the ports excellent choices for the movement of goods.

Our sailings out of the US Gulf Coast will also be calling at Walvis Bay, Namibia directly on the inbound South African voyage leg.

Port rotation is planned as follows: New Orleans-Houston-Walvis Bay-Cape Town-Durban-Richards Bay.
